Since our inception, Artisan Studios has been on an exhilarating journey—a path where tech and artistry collide, creating solutions that exceed the mark in engineering excellence and design elegance. We started with a core team, pouring our hearts into our work. Back then, our brand matched our energy. But now, with a growing focus on AWS, data services, and product development, it was time for a brand that truly reflected who we’ve become. Today, we’re proud to announce the new face of Artisan Studios. This rebrand isn’t just an aesthetic shift; it’s a reflection of who we are now, and more importantly, who we’re becoming.

Let's Start By Looking At The Original Brand

When I first had the honor of designing Artisan’s initial brand several years ago, it was essential to create something that encapsulated who we were at the time: a company brimming with creativity and determination. We leaned into the clean, energetic vibes that spoke to our roots, adopting a color palette of crisp white, strong deep blue, and an eye-catching, electric coral red. Our iconic "A" logomark became a cornerstone of our visual identity, symbolizing our ability to shape, create, and build something great with our hands.

For several years, this brand served us well. It set us apart in our early days and helped establish Artisan as a force to be reckoned with. But as we expanded our offerings and took on more complex challenges, it became clear that our brand was starting to feel, well, a little out of sync with who we are today. It no longer represented the force that Artisan had become.

Why the Change?

As Artisan Studios transitioned from a small group of specialists into a dynamic team offering end-to-end solutions, the question became not if—but when—our brand should follow suit. We’ve grown in scope, in skill, and in reputation. Our work has become synonymous with precision, elegance, and innovation. Yet, our brand was stuck in a moment that no longer captured that essence.

The need to refresh Artisan’s visual identity wasn’t just cosmetic, but rather symbolic. It wasn’t just about refreshing the logo or changing a few colors; it was about ensuring our visual identity echoed our growth, our expertise, and our forward momentum. Brushing elbows with giants meant going beyond the fresh face toward truly standing out. We wanted to show - very distinctly - that we were different.

The New Brand: Sleek, Refined, Timeless

Enter the new Artisan Studios. For the gargantuan task of innovating a new brand, we partnered closely with design agency, 40 Hearts, to transform our brand into something worthy of our growth. This team exceeded expectations and delivered an incredible brand that’s spot-on with our identity.

Logo Mark

The first step in our transformation was rethinking the logomark. We’ve kept its essence intact—after all, we couldn’t part ways with something so central to our identity—but it’s now sleeker, sharper, and far more in tune with the level of precision we bring to the table. It hints at our history while pointing firmly toward the future.

Our “A” now has an official name, inspired by an ancient Greek leadership concept: Arete (pronounced, ah-rette). It loosely translates to a desire of pursuing excellence in everything, including virtue, value, and mission. This new refined logotype - the Arete - is the central visual communicator of what we value at Artisan.

Color

The color palette has also undergone a significant shift. Gone are the playful, youthful tones of coral and bright navy. Instead, we’ve embraced a darker, more luxurious range of colors—deep shades that evoke a sense of sleekness and confidence, akin to the allure of a high-performance sports car. These new shades convey confidence, professionalism, and a subtle warmth that mirrors the balance we strike between approachability and excellence.

Typography

The new typography is modern yet timeless, speaking to our expertise and our commitment to staying ahead of the curve while holding fast to our principles. Every element of the new brand has been carefully chosen to align with who we are today: a company that’s bigger, bolder, and ready to meet the future head-on.

A Website That Brings It All Together

The brand refresh didn’t stop at just our logo, colors, and fonts. Our website has undergone a full transformation as well, seamlessly incorporating our new brand into a clean, intuitive experience that truly showcases the work we do. As a consultancy, we know that first impressions matter, and our website is often the first point of contact for potential clients. We wanted it to reflect the same level of sophistication and refinement that our new brand conveys.

From the moment you land on the homepage, you’ll see how the sleek new logomark, typography, and color palette come together to create a cohesive experience. The navigation is simple and intuitive, allowing users to easily explore our case studies, learn more about our services, and get a true sense of who we are as a company. We’ve stripped away the unnecessary fluff to create something that feels as clean, seamless, and polished as the solutions we deliver.

Our new website is more than just a digital presence—it’s a showcase of our maturity as a company. It reflects the work we’ve done, the expertise we’ve gained, and the relationships we’ve built. This rebrand isn’t just a facelift; it’s a statement. We’ve grown, we’ve evolved, and we’re ready to continue setting the bar higher in the technology world. This new identity reflects our readiness for even greater challenges and opportunities.
